Still Image Moving, as part of Inbetween Time Festival
This is a mass photographic/performance work that will take place at various sites across the city of Bristol. I will be working with a group of participant facilitators across the streets of Bristol between the 2nd and 14th December 2010 to capture the hidden performance hearts of Bristol’s residents as passersby are welcomed and encouraged to reveal their performance alter ego.
South America Research Trip – November 2010
On Monday 1st November I am setting off for a month long research trip in South America. This is as part of a project, which is a joint venture between myself and the Red Sudamericana de Danza (RSD) (South America Dance Network )
This is an ambitious project, which intends to generate an unprecedented body of work that will celebrate the current condition of contemporary dance in South America, as well as being a unique opportunity to bridge contemporary dance and visual art. In my trip in November I will be traveling to Montevideo (Uruguay), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Buenos Aires (Argentina) and I will be experimenting and collaborating with a total of about 12 artists in the space of a month.
