Kostis Kilymis is an artist focusing on audio feedback systems and representation. His practice touches upon music, installation work and video – developed using a mixture of electronic and acoustic approaches. In performance, he has collaborated with various musicians such as Lucio Capece, Nikos Veliotis, Leif Elggren and Patrick Farmer. He also maintains ongoing projects in Syndromes and Syndromes Sister Overdrive and runs the Organized Music from Thessaloniki experimental music label. His work has been exhibited in Athens and Oxford.

For Sully, Kostis will be presenting some of his recent video work. The pieces shown are built through a detached relationship with image, and investigate issues of place and our experience of it. There will also be a short audio presentation, demonstrating how this approach has emerged as a result of earlier forays into sound and installation work.

A selection of materials from Videoteca Panorama (video library) will be presented at Sully as a thematic screening programme concerned with the intersections between art and activism, dance and the political body. This selection is part of the project Corpo-Cópia, Documents & Traces of Political Compositions Programme (Compisições Políticas) (, the Ibero-American Meeting within the Festival Panorama ( The works selected represent a political frame of the dance production in Brazil, by some of the most important Brazilian artists. Corpo-Cópia was first organized by Andrew Mitchelson, Isabel Ferreira and Paula Gorini, with the collaboration of Maria Llopis and Coletivo Filé de Peixe, in 2011.
